A LITTLE HAPPINESS
From the moment we are in our mother’s womb until the end of our lives, we learn through trial and error, experiencing what is right and wrong, beautiful and unpleasant, and gradually learning to accept and live with these experiences.
For a certain period of our lives, we focus on our families. As we grow older, our responsibilities expand to include our careers, our partners, and raising our children. Amid all these responsibilities, the time we set aside for ourselves often becomes limited to just a few precious moments.
Make Time for Yourself
Think about it. At the end of our working lives, we retire and say, “Finally, it’s time to relax.” However, many people make the mistake of transitioning from an active lifestyle to a sedentary one.
When our physical activity decreases but our eating habits remain unchanged, our bodies may become more prone to accumulating fat. This can increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases, excessive weight gain, and joint problems.
So, what should we do?
Until now, you have devoted much of your time to providing for your family and fulfilling your responsibilities. Now, it is your turn.
Make time for yourself. Participate in activities you enjoy, exercise regularly to protect your health, and maintain a balanced diet. By taking care of both your physical and mental well-being, you can enjoy your retirement years in a healthier and happier way.
I am retired, too. However, I still consider myself to be at the beginning of a new journey. My priority is to take care of myself and protect my physical and mental health.
Taking care of myself makes me happy, and I believe that even this little happiness can positively influence the people around me.
Those who know me know that I always have a smile on my face. And the reason?
It is the positive contributions you have made to my life and the respect I have for myself.
Never forget what we always say:
IF YOU’RE FIT, YOU’RE A HIT!
